Tuesday Morning - A Josiah Update

I was just talking to Marie and she informed me that the head trach doctor is going to try and replace Josiah's 3.0 mm trach with a 3.5 mm. This is very exciting because a larger airway may help Josiah to avoid his dying spells. Please pray for steady hands, a safe procedure (it's all done in Josiah's crib and it's as easy - yeah right! - as popping out/popping in an earring, if you believe it), and that this is a right fit Josiah. Obviously we are excited by this prospect, but at the same time we don't want the trach to be so large that it rubs and irritates the lining of Josiah's trachea. Josia will be observed over the next couple of days to see how he takes to it.
