Saturday Morning - A Josiah Update

Hi Guys

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! :) Josiah had a really sleepy day yesterday (adjusting to meds still, and was sedated for his trach change), and had maybe 2 hours in total of awake time, but it wasn't quality time really. He's still a little puffier than normal over the last couple of days, and so we're a little concerned but also sad because it means that he can't really open his eyes when he's awake. So you can pray that he stops being puffy and can actually interact! But even with his eyes closed, he'll still play a little: he was smiling as we played with his rattle this morning and he would follow the noises that I was making around him. He probably saw a little too through his eye slits, but it wasn't very much.

Marie and I hoping to head out to my grandparents this evening for Thanksgiving dinner, but as always it depends on Josiah's health and nurse. So you can pray that he has a good strong day and that he had a good nurse tonight who knows him and will play with him when he's awake.

My strep throat is pretty much gone. Oh sweet relief ...

Grateful Blessings.
