Hi Guys
The last couple of days Josiah hasn't had any heart or seizure problems, but he's back to have his tracheamalaysia 'dying spells'. He had a couple yesterday and they are hard to watch because he's obviously upset and scared (and all that coughing and crying must really hurt his trachea). Thankfully his heart remained strong with both spells yesterday so he didn't need to be chloralled (sedated). Earlier this week his heart rate would bounce (brady than strong and repeat frequently) necessitating the chloral treatment.
Oh, and Josiah is starting to reach for things and bat his toys! Yay! So much fun.
Other than that, there isn't much new. The OT department is going to try to make some foam inserts for Josiah's Bumbo chair so that he can work on sitting up. Marie has officially stopped pumping altogether and Josiah has more or less adjusted to formula. Marie's brother (Wes) is out visiting this week from Calgary and that has been a real treat.
God Bless.

Glad you could visit with your brother Marie. Keep hanging in there. We'll all keep praying.
So very cute and good that Josiah is starting to reach for things.
