Monday Morning - A Josiah Update

Hey Guys

So Josiah has gone almost 36 hours without a seizure - praise God and WooHoo! We're still holding a our breath though because when Josiah's first seizure med was given he went 2 days without seizures before lapsing into them again.

Josiah's heart seems to be responding very well to the meds. Because the surgeon is gone, the cardiologists are going to wait on things, but now that the weekend is over maybe so more activity will take place.

The neurologists haven't completed their full report on Josiah's MRI yet, but their preliminary findings don't tell us anything new: Josiah still doesn't show any signs of the tumor that is associated with Pallister-Hall and many parts of his brain are still underdeveloped. There is concern that his ventricles are growing, so that will have to be addressed after it is confirmed. It could be also that fluids are building up as a result of his poor circulation (the multiple PDA's in his heart).

Anyways, that the latest. It was a huge relief to see him have a seizure-free day yesterday. Thanks again so much for your prayers.

Thank God for some good news, that must be a least a bit of a relief for you guys. Still praying for you all. Praying for wisdom for the doctors. Praying for strength and rest for you two. Praying for the health of your marriage. Praying that Josiah will be healthy enough to be home at Christmas. Praying for miracles in little Josiah's body.

You guys inspire me, you are AMAZING parents!!!
