I've made you wait long enough, haven't I? Tsk tsk. Shame on me. Well, it's not all my fault. Some days I'm not just around the internet to get something. And you can always rely on the ol' adage that no news is good news ...
Josiah has been doing fairly well. He's complete off his 'medaz' now (his sedative) but the nurses say it could be 2 weeks before it is completely out of his system. While he deals with that irritation we are hoping that he's no longer in pain from his g-tube being put back in. Man, that was the most awful thing I've seen happen: your own kid prodded and in a crazy amount of pain.
Josiah has been throwing up like crazy lately. We're not talking the cute little spit up here and there. We're talking fire hydrant some days. You guys recall the 'dream sequence' in Shrek the Third? Yeah, kind of like that. I was holding Josiah a few days ago and I'm so glad we spotted his 'puke face motions' and tilted him away from me because he threw about 60 ml a distance of 4 feet (and I'm not exaggerating). He's got serious projectile skills. On Saturday he threw up on me twice so I'm finally initiated into dadhood. We're kind of concerned because we want him to grow of course and keep his food down, but thankfully none of this throw up is getting into his lungs. We're trying to figure out what is causing this urge: sometimes it's handling, sometimes it's suction, sometimes is a gag, sometimes it even happens in his sleep. A big part of the problem is the fact he can't burp (kind of hard when you have a tube in your throat) but we're hoping that he'll figure it out soon. But man, he has no problem farting his gas away. He's one of the loudest babies the nurses have ever heard!! That's my boy ... :)
Other than that, we're waiting for our home medical supplies to come in so that we can take Josiah out for day trips around the hospital. That will be exciting! Marie is already taking him out of his room and walking the halls of 'South' because she can't control the urge any more. We might be able to get a van this week: I'm hoping to buy one before we head up to Enderby for Danelle and Paul's wedding (yeah, still have to write the sermon for that ceremony ... heh heh heh ... always the procrastinator, eh?)
I don't really have any new pics of Josiah just because I'm not around as much and I'm not usually thinking photos when I'm with him, but I'll try to get some new pics up before we leave for the weekend.
Thanks to Karin C, Naomi & Laura R., and Loralee H. who visited Marie this week. I'm not sure I've remembered everyone so I'm sorry I missed you.
In God's Love.

Hi Guys-
Definitely give it at Least 2 weeks fr the midazolam to wean off/filter out of his system. We saw changes in Caleb even 3-4 weeks after his midazlam was weaned. Glad to hear everything is good. We'll be out this week to Children's-
