Hey Guys
So Josiah has had an eventful 24 hours. We're kind of concerned that he is getting sick because he's been extremely docile and slept for almost an entire day (woke up for a few hours in total but that's it), and his temperature is higher than normal too. Last night he popped out his g-tube (but you didn't know that could happen, eh?). We couldn't tell if it came out because he was crying so hard or because he stomped on it with his feet. The doctor who was there at the time didn't want to put the g-tube back in and wanted to just put in a smaller cathader. Well, the surgeon came this morning to take care of josiah and just put the same g-tube back in. So we're upset that the doctor last night didn't do that because Josiah had to be dialated (that stomach stoma had to be stretched) for the g-tube to go back in. Very painful. Josiah was quite upset, which of course really upsets us. Please pray that God will take Josiah's pain away. Also, we're upset because the surgeon just put the old one back in: all the ports have been worn and it's really hard to feed and medicate Josiah because the adapters don't stay in tight enough. Grrr! Hopefully this one will last a couple of weeks without any incidents and the Josiah might be able to get his smaller g-tube finally.
Further, today Josiah is getting his first trach change at noon. Please be praying for our guy at this time. The head trach doctor is going to be doing the procedure and some of his best teachers are going to be there as well. They will inspect the stoma and do a quick scope down into the bronch to see how things look post-op (no scar tissue build up and so on). Please pray that this will be a safe and positive experience for Josiah, and that everything looks good inside.
I'm going back into the room to be with Josiah. Take care everyone. Thanks for the prayers. Thanks to Joanne & Jenny L. for visiting Marie earlier this week.
In God's Strength.

hey guys,
I meant to say last night when I talked to you, if the timing doesn't work for Dom to pick up Marie, it would be no problem for Daniel to drive out Saturday morning. He coming to Enderby after his grad on friday with mom, but he will have our vehicle on saturday if he needs it and could definetly make the trip to get marie saturday morning. Just let us know, we'd love to help you guys out!
Love Daniel and Renee!

We're thinking and praying for Josiah and his mum and dad.Hope all goes well today. We will be in early next week. Caleb is doing a little better.
Hey Guys:
Boy oh boy if it's not one thing it's another isn't it? My heart goes out to you both, you have been through sooo... much already.
God I just pray right now for Your peace today for Andrew and Marie. Give them an overabundance of the strength that they need to have with all of the things that come up. I pray that they get the rest that they need so that they can handle what comes along.
I ask that You will be with Josiah in the next few hours as he gets his trach changed and whatever else is going to be done. I pray that the insides of him are good with no additional problems. I pray that he recovers quickly from all the procedures that he has to undergo and I pray that You would relieve him from any pain. I pray that You would keep him healthy and not allow him to become sick in any way.
I ask that You would bless the three of them richly. We know You are a good God.
Love Sue
