Marie just called to say that Josiah has just gone into the OR. The surgery will probably take about an hour. Please pray that everything will go well and smoothly, that the doctors will be able to do exactly what needs to be done and that Josiah will heal and respond well. Please also pray that Josiah doesn't get sick: the last thing Josiah needs right now is an infection/virus and we are so thankful to God that Josiah has been able to be here so long and not contract anything. Marie is a little concern because Josiah has been so lethargic lately (not himself?) and so we're praying that God will take care of him. Marie wants to ask a doctor/nurse about her concerns, but I guess the room is insanely busy today and she doesn't feel she has the opportunity to ask for some tests to be run on Josiah.

I have been much in prayer for Josiah today. I have asked the Lord to cover all of you with His protection and for Him to also be with the surgeons, the other attending physicians and the nurses. After all, they have been entrusted with a very special little man's care.
