Please Pray For Our Family

I know there may be people peeking at the blog this week considering today marks the two year anniversary of Josiah's death.

While there's is much that I can write about that, there are more painful things on our hearts.

My father (Don Haak) died in a farming accident last Friday.

The pain we are experiencing as a family is overwhelming. As you have prayed for us in the past as we journeyed with Josiah, please pray for our family now.

Thank you
- Andrew

Andrew and Marie - this is unbelievably sad and tragic news. I have been thinking of you and praying as I know it is the 2nd anniversary this week of when Jesus received your darling Josiah. I am reminded of your son everyday as I pass by the Josiah trees in our front yard. Now..once again your family has been touched by death. I am so sad to know that you are experiencing another loss. I don't know what to say. Our ways are not God's ways as He says in Isaiah 55. As I have prayed so often for you and your family over the past few years, I will not stop. In fact, I'll pray more earnestly for God's comforting and healing balm to cover you Andrew, Marie, Joelle, your mom and the rest of your family. May His everlasting arms hold you especially in these early days of grieving, but also in the coming days and years. Love, Bev

I am truly saddened by the news of your father's passing. I grew up in the same small church in Matsqui as the Haak family and know them well having done business with them over the years. Don was a great man who was well respected and loved his family. We are holding the family in prayer.
