... and probably the first time they've ever appeared on the net! :D
(Josiah @ 6:30 PM, Friday March 2nd)
... looking good in his blankets & crib
About half an hour ago the nurses transfered Josiah from his incubator to a crib! I'm not sure if it's much of a measurable milestone, but he just looks so much more comfortable (and approachable) when he's not behind a case of plastic.Josiah continues to be stable. The doctors are concerned, however, with his secretion (saliva etc) levels. It seems that Josiah secretes a lot more than what is normal (our baby proves yet again that he doesn't follow the rest of the crowd!) and they don't know why. The immediate problem and concern is that he needs to be suctioned every 45 minutes to an hour, which means it interrupts his precious rest. We ask that you pray with us, that the doctors will figure out and solve the problem, that God will fix the problem, or that Josiah will just swallow his spit!

Jesus I pray that he swallows his spit Amen!
I think it best he be in the crib too, the more comfortable the better with all those tubes in him, hey?
Nice!
Hi Marie and Andrew,
Hello from Auntie Audrey, Jean, Karen and Debbie. We are all together at John & Debbie's place...thinking of you...and talking about you...with your Mom and Dad. Chris & Wes are here too...oh yes, and Breanne. :) ...not to mention our husbands!
It's so nice to see Josiah in a crib. We are wondering where that little quilt came from.
It is great to keep updated by this blog. Josiah is becoming a very famous baby. We are all getting to know Andrew's heart as he writes.
Mom says "Hi"
We will keep praying for all of you!
Praise the Lord!! Josiah is in a crib!!! How wonderful that is! He looks so much more comfortable in there. I am sure that alone will help him feel better. I agree with all our aunties that Josiah is a famous baby! He is so loved by us all. Give Marie and Josiah and kiss from me.
To my Anty Audrey (and all the others who were surrounding the computer at the time). Thank you for taking the time to follow Josiahs life and pray for him and us. He is one blessed child.
I hope that you are all well also.
So anyway the quilt was made by Andrews Aunty Betty-Lou. It is really soft. You quilters have an eye for things. =)
Love you all and I hope to see you all in April.
Marie
