Hello Hello ... I'm at a place called Vertigo ...
Well, Marie just told me that we're not going to get the 'heads up' today on the good and/or bad news that the geneticists have uncovered. One person is sick and the other one is too busy, so we're going to have to wait tomorrow. I guess that gives us another day to pray and another day for God to do his thing!
Josiah had visit by an occupational therapist (OT) today just to observe his reflexes and how he can handle breathing/drinking/sucking all at the same time. The OT believes that Josiah has good coordination, but there is something wrong with his nasal passage (a blockage, narrowing etc). So hopefully we'll be getting a scan specifically on that area soon. That's another thing to pray for!
Sorry I haven't posted any new pics in days. I kinda have misplaced my camera USB cable :( I was warned to never lose it because it's expensive! Yikes! Oh well, it would be nice for it to turn up somewhere.
Well, I think it's time for me to go read another story to Josiah. Marie and I will most likely be staying at Easter Seals House until we know for sure where they are going to have Josiah for the next couple of weeks. I'm preaching this Sunday - I know I know, you may think I'm an idiot but all the studying is done; I just have to piece together my manuscript and besides, it's a healthy distraction to pour my energy into - so I'll be in and out of Abbotsford over the next couple of days working in the office. I'm willing to battle the insane-o Port Mann traffic to spend my mornings and evenings with Josiah and Marie, but we'll see what happens.
Freedom has a scent like the top of a newborn baby's head.
Thanks everyone. In God's Grace & Peace.

If you're in Abby, look for me. I live in Apartment 314 in Dahlstrom Manor, which is just across the street from the school. Give me a buzz if you've got some time.

Hey Andrew and Marie, Hope you are doing well. I was praying for you guys today and God brought to mind the verse Isaiah 26:3-4 "You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock." Hope it encourages you guys as you wait. My prayers are with you Love Shawna
P.S. Richard and Rachel don't know what they are having, it could be a girl!
miricle drug (google's a great thing) i do believe ever since this christmas, when we watched those U2 vidoes, i've been hooked on them, i listen to them all the time. i wake up to U2, exercise to U2, do dishes and cook to U2. they have consummed my life, but i realise i have more appreication for them now, because you told me so much about them and what their songs mean. (still all time fav. is 'stuck in a moment')
-so quesiton of the day: was there an underlining symbolize as to why you started and ended your blog statment with U2?
love you andrew
-i'm praying my butt off today for you guys. i love you
No, there wasn't any specific reason why I bookended that blog with U2 lyrics. I started that one quite innocently with "Hello Hello" as my greating, but then in my mind echoed the next line "I'm in a place called Vertigo", which I typed in because I felt it was quite fitting - this has been a dizzy week!
And because I started with U2 I wanted to end with U2, and after searching some lyrics I felt Miracle Drug (and the story that goes with it) was very appropriate. Maybe I'll post the link to the Blender article later.

PS Maybe U2 is also a bit of a running joke with Josiah. I've told him that I want to get him listening to U2 as soon possible ;)And I also keep him updated with all the Canuck scores! And Chris: "Eat It!" Canucks won again last night!
