Hi Everyone
Here's a blur-through of what's been happening this morning. Josiah and Marie arrived at BC Children's around 5 AM and he's been really comfortable. He's awake, playing, not ecstatic but content, and his vitals are good. Marie's pretty exhausted (less than an hour's sleep) and so I'm leaving soon to spend the rest of the day out there.
Right now priority number one is to treat his ear infection with antibiotics. His lungs and respiratory system look great so the problem isn't there. Neurology is supposed to stop by today and help give their thoughts. With the typical caution that you want to have associated with the ICU, Josiah probably won't be coming home until Monday since they will want to observe him for a while, watch for improvement, and try to determine what this odd behavior was and what triggered it.
If people are interested in dropping by to say hello, please call either my cell number or the ICU first to see if we're awake enough to socialize. Thanks!
Thanks for the prayers.

Thanks for the update, Andrew. We'll be praying that Josiah has a speedy recovery and that you guys get some answers.
aw! haha "speedy recovery" indeed. When I hear those words I remember Mr. Rogers! His mailman would always say, "speedy delivery". :) less than an hour of sleep is not good, not good at all!! I pray you get the sleep you need.
praying for your family,
daniel and renee
