This just in ... Marie's going to be on TV tomorrow!
Tuesday at noon Marie is going to be appear live on Global TV News as Global continues with their telethon at BC Children's Hospital. She doesn't know exactly when she'll be on or for how long, but if you can I'm sure it'll be fun to watch!
We're hoping that Josiah will be given the go ahead to leave the TCU to get on TV, but we'll see what the RT says in the morning. Today he had a great day! His ventilator pressures went down (he's still on the 'big blue' ventilator, but doing well) and he's definitely more comfortable. Yet it's obvious that his throat is still sore, and he has now developed an ear infection (a combination of ear tubes being replaced and the cold).
Today Josiah had some amazing playtime on his back! This is the first time that we've ever seen Josiah interested and able to lay flat on his back, hold his head mid-line, and grab toys dangling directly above him! We're so stoked - he did this for three hours! This just come after yesterday where Josiah played with a toy with both hands for the very first time!
Thanks for the prayers and the celebrating with us!

Hi Andrew, Thanks for the notice about Marie and Josiah being on TV. They were great! Marie was so articulate, knowlegdeable, and very loving. And Josiah, he was his sweet loveable self! What a joy it was listening to them, even if it was only a minute. Love Mom
Haven't met either of them but my Mom and I both watched them on TV today - Marie did awesome and if that doesn't help raise some money then I don't know what will - good to hear that Josiah has a date when he'll get to go home with you guys!
Marie and Josiah ~ I was SO PROUD of you both!! You did an awesome job with the interview, showing poise and confidence. I'm glad that Josiah was able to be there. We are blessed to have such a great hospital. Let's pray that money will pour in so it can be made even better.
Thinking of you - love and prayers - Bev J.
