Just wanted to let everyone know that the doctors are planning on taking the breathing tube out of Josiah tomorrow. We aren't really sure of the time, but the doctors' rounds are from 8-10 AM so it'll probably happen sometime after that. The doctors have been given him steriods today so that his airways will be (hopefully) more open tomorrow. (Steriods, of course, is often the active ingredient in the puffers asthmatic people use). Steroids! As if he isn't strong enough already, eh?! :D
So, if you could be praying this evening and tomorrow morning that his swell will have gone down in his trachea, that it is opening up and that there is no mucus obstructing his breathing that would be great!
Also, I decide to make things really simple for everyone who wants to download pics and vids of our Josiah. I have established a link in the right side-bar of my blog. The link will take you directly to the site - just remember the username and password (or write it down first!).
Anyays, I'm going to go hang out with boy. Sigh. I'm in love. Thanks for Cindy S. and Trina U. for coming over to hang out (wow - indian food!), and for Grandpa and Marie H. coming out this evening.
In God's precious peace.
- Andrew, Marie, and Josiah
